Easygoing Homeschooling is a virtual (Facebook) and in-person (Cataño) homeschool support group founded in December 2019.

The group is secular, non-denominational, and inclusive, welcoming families throughout Puerto Rico who are either beginning their homeschooling journey or have been homeschooling for some time using a relaxed approach.

We provide guidance for anyone interested in learning about homeschooling in Puerto Rico and support new families who wish to embrace this educational lifestyle.

We meet at least once a month in Cataño or at the location of scheduled activities. Communication for in-person members takes place exclusively through a private WhatsApp group.

Our community exists to share experiences, knowledge, resources, ideas, and much more. We also help answer questions and provide guidance as families begin the rewarding journey of educating their children at home.

The word "Easygoing" reflects our philosophy of approaching homeschooling with flexibility and balance. Relaxed homeschooling means not placing unnecessary pressure on ourselves to follow an overly rigid or hurried schedule. Instead, we seek to create space to enjoy meaningful learning experiences without the stress, unrealistic expectations, or urgency that we sometimes place upon ourselves.

Based in Puerto Rico, we enjoy exploring the beauty of our island while enthusiastically learning in both Spanish and English.

We serve as a resource for homeschooling information, teaching strategies, books, curriculum ideas, and educational websites. Most importantly, we are a supportive network for both new and experienced homeschooling families in Puerto Rico who value bilingual education in English and Spanish.
